• Relix is located in North Knoxville, across from the Time Warp Tea Room. 1208 N. Central Ave. Knoxville, TN 37917
• Please arrive by 7:30pm to load/sound check before the evening begins at 8pm.
• There will be open mic performances from 8-10 and the feature band will take the stage from 10-10:30. Please be respectful of your set time as there will be open mic performers after the feature band. The open mic performers are competing for a chance to play in the finals, and are also on a schedule.
• Please do not break down your equipment until after the evening is over.
• Please treat this opportunity as a chance to make new friends in Knoxville and offer to gig swap with other musicians that you hear and enjoy. The purpose of this event is to strengthen our networks with each other and thereby increase the possibility of a successful music career for all!

Contract:
The Relix Open Mic Series is a new event, and we are currently not charging a door. A The goal of the series is to grow attendance and then charge a small cover to pay directly to the traveling band. As of July 2010, we cannot guarantee bands any wages. Please help us establish our series so that we can later make this a booking with a guarantee.

Until we begin charging a door, we can pass the hat if you are traveling. Perhaps this can help you with gas money. I am hoping to make this a special event that touring artists use as an extra incentive to come to Knoxville. So in other words, book your high-paying weekend gigs and then stay an extra night and play at Relix for the exposure! And meet awesome people to gig swap with! ~Christina
